ด้วยความประทับใจในซิ่นของสตรีไทลื้อที่ปรากฏอยู่บนจิตรกรรมฝาผนังวัดภูมินทร์ เป็นแรงบันดาลใจให้ครูอยากจะสืบสานผ้าทออันเป็นเอกลักษณ์ของท้องถิ่น ผ้าลายน้ำไหล ปัจจุบันได้ถูกพัฒนามาเป็นลวดลายต่างๆ มากมาย ล้วนแล้วแต่มีลายน้ำไหลเป็นลายพื้นฐาน เช่น ลายจรวดเป็นการเพิ่มหยักลายน้ำไหลให้เป็นลายที่มีลักษณะคล้ายจรวดกำลังพุ่ง ลายดอกไม้หรือลายแมงมุม เมื่อนำผ้าลายน้ำไหลมาต่อกันจะมีจุดช่องว่างตรงกลางเติมเส้นลายขาเล็กๆ แยกออกรอบตัวมองดูคล้ายดอกไม้หรือแมงมุม ลายปลาหมึกมีลักษณะลวดลายคล้ายแมงมุมแต่ทิ้งหางยาวกว่าลายแมงมุม ตอนนี้ครูได้เปิดสอนองค์ความรู้เหล่านี้ให้กับนักเรียนและผู้ที่สนใจเพื่อเป็นการสืบสานวัฒนธรรมการทอผ้าไม่ให้สูญหายไปจากวิถีชีวิตของชาวน่าน

“Thai Lue woven cloth in the pattern of flowing water can represent the Nan handicraft.”

With the impression in the sarong of Thai Lue women appearing in the mural painting of Phumin temple, the Teacher is inspired to continue the cloth which is the local uniqueness, the ที่ cloth in the pattern of flowing water. Nowadays, various patterns are developed based on the pattern of flowing water such as the rocket pattern to increase the protruding parts of the pattern similarly to the soaring rocket, flower pattern or spider pattern. When bringing the cloth in the pattern of flowing water in connection, there will be the space in the middle for adding the little lines around looking like flower or spider called flower or spider patterns. The squid pattern is like spider pattern but the tail is longer. Nowadays, the Teacher teaches this knowledge to the students and interested persons for continuing the weaving culture not to lose from the way of life of Nan’s people.
