ครูอำพัน ฉัตรเฉลิมวุฒิ เป็นผู้มีภูมิปัญญาด้านการจักสานเชือกกล้วยเป็นสิ่งของภาชนะรูปร่างต่างๆ เช่น กระเช้า ตะกร้า เสื่อ หมวก เครื่องใช้ เครื่องประดับ เป็นต้น โดยเริ่มเรียนรู้ด้วยตนเองจากบรรพบุรุษ มีความคิดริเริ่ม สร้างสรรค์ฝึกฝนพัฒนาชิ้นงานเพิ่มขึ้นตลอดมาอย่างต่อเนื่อง สามารถสร้างเครือข่ายการเรียนรู้ภูมิปัญญาโดยจัดตั้งกลุ่มพัฒนาสตรีจักสานเชือกกล้วยขึ้น มีการเผยแพร่และประชาสัมพันธ์โดยการนำสินค้าไปจัดแสดงและจำหน่ายในงานต่างๆ การรวมกลุ่มสร้างงานสร้างอาชีพทำให้สมาชิกมีรายได้เสริม รู้จักนำทรัพยากรในท้องถิ่นมาใช้ให้เป็นประโยชน์ คือ เชือกกล้วย โดยเฉพาะอย่างยิ่งเชือกกล้วยป่าซึ่งจะมีคุณภาพดีกว่าเชือกกล้วยพันธุ์ธรรมดา

Teacher Amphan Chatchalermwuti is the person having the wisdom in weaving the banana tree string into the containers in various shapes such as baskets, mats, hats, utensils, ornaments, etc. She learned by herself from the ancestors. She has the creativity and she tries to practice and develop the work pieces continually. She can create the learning network and wisdom by establishing the community enterprise and group of interested persons. The wisdom is publicized by showing the products and sold in various events. There is the grouping for creating the income and knowing how to benefit from local resources which are banana tree strings. Especially, forest banana tree strings have better quality than ordinary bananas.
