การทำมีดอรัญญิกนั้นครูมีแรงบันดาลใจมาจากการที่หมู่บ้านของเราเป็นแหล่งทำมีดที่ใหญ่ที่สุด และมีชื่อเสียงที่สุดในประเทศไทยจนถึงระดับโลก หมู่บ้านทำมีดอรัญญิกถือว่าเป็นกลุ่มการผลิตขนาดใหญ่มีพื้นที่ทำการผลิตครอบคลุมในพื้นที่ตำบลท่าช้าง ทั้ง 8 หมู่บ้านมีครัวเรือนที่ทำการผลิตมีดมากกว่า 400 ครัวเรือน มีเครือข่ายการผลิตการตลาดเชื่อมโยงกันทุกหมู่บ้านซึ่งทุกครัวเรือนต่างได้รับการถ่ายทอดวิชาการทำมีดมาจากบรรพบุรุษเดียวกัน รวมถึงการรักษาประเพณีวัฒนธรรมต่างๆ ที่มีลักษณะไม่แตกต่างกัน เราจึงไม่กลัวว่าภูมิปัญญามีดอรัญญิกจะสูญหายไป

In making Aranyik Knives, the Teacher is inspired by the fact that our village is the largest and most famous source in making Aranyik Knives both in Thailand and foreign countries. The village making Aranyik Knives is considered the large production group with the production area covering 8 villages of Tha Chang Sub-district with more than 400 households making Aranyik Knives. There is the production network connected in every village. All households are transferred the knowledge in making Aranyik Knives from the same ancestors as well as the conservation of similar culture and tradition. Therefore, we do not dare that the wisdom in making Aranyik Knives will be lost.
