หลังจากได้ไปรับการอบรมการทอผ้าไหมมัดหมี่มาจากจังหวัดขอนแก่น ครูก็เกิดแรงบันดาลใจที่จะรวมกลุ่มสมาชิกมาฝึกหัดทอผ้าแล้วจึงเริ่มมาฟื้นฟูการทอผ้าไหมลายสร้อยดอกหมากที่เป็นลายผ้าดั้งเดิมของท้องถิ่นซึ่งเกือบจะสูญหายไป ด้วยความสวยงามวิจิตรบรรจงของผ้าลายสร้อยดอกหมาก จึงได้รับคัดเลือกเป็นผ้าลายประจำจังหวัดมหาสารคาม เป็นที่ภาคภูมิใจของครูและชาวกุดชุมทุกคน

“Soi Dok Mak pattern cloth is the uniqueness of Kut Rang local wisdom.”

After being trained on Mat Mee weaving from Khon Kaen Province, the Teacher is inspired to gather the members for practicing weaving and starting to restore weaving Soi Dok Mak pattern which is the traditional local pattern nearly lost. With the beauty and exquisite, Soi Dok Mak pattern cloth is selected as the pattern of cloth of Maha Sarakham Province being proud for the Teacher and all Kut Chum people.
