ครูวีระเป็นผู้รู้ลึกซึ้งเรื่องหนังใหญ่มากที่สุด ตั้งแก่การทำตัวหนังใหญ่ด้วยขั้นตอนและกรรมวิธีแบบโบราณ ซึ่งท่านได้รับการปลูกฝังสั่งสอนมาจากบรมครูทางด้านหนังใหญ่จนเป็นผู้เชี่ยวชาญกระทั่งการเชิดและพากย์หนัง โดยสืบทอดการพากย์-เจรจาหนังใหญ่จากม.ร.ว.จรูญสวัสดิ์ ศุขสวัสดิ์ ในสายของพระยานัฏกานุรักษ์(ทองดี สุวรรณภารต) และสืบทอดการพากย์-เจรจาโขนจากครูสง่า ศะศิวณิช ในสายของพระยาสุนทรเทพระบำ(เปลี่ยน สุนทรนัฏ) การสืบทอดองค์ความรู้ดังกล่าวเป็นการสืบทอดตามประเพณีมุขปาฐะ ด้วยวิธีการฝากตัวเป็นศิษย์กับครูและวิธีครูพักลักจำ เรียกว่าครบถ้วนกระบวนความเลยทีเดียว หนังใหญ่ฝีมือครูวีระนั้นมีความละเอียดงดงาม ด้วยฝีมืออันประณีต ทำให้งานออกมาดูมีมิติ ปัจจุบันครูได้ถ่ายทอดองค์ความรู้นี้ให้กับลูกศิษย์และรับเป็นวิทยากรให้กับทางองค์กรการศึกษาต่างๆ ที่เชิญครูไปเผยแพร่องค์ความรู้การทำหนังใหญ่

“I determine to make 600 pieces of grand shadow play as the national treasure which can be studied by the next generations.”
Master Veera has an insight into grand shadow play. He knows how to make grand shadow play using ancient methods, which he inherited from the grand shadow play great master until he became an expert on both playing and narrating it. He inherited playing and narration from MR Charunsawadi Suksawadi, a descendant of Phraya Nattakanurak (Thongdee Suwanparata). In addition, he inherited narration and negotiation from Master Sa-nga Sasiwanit, a descendant of Phraya Soonthorntheprabam (Plean Soonthoranat). Such inheritance of knowledge was traditionally done verbally by being a student of the masters and learn from experience, which he could do completely well. The grand shadow play made by Master Veera is elaborately fine and vivid. Presently, the master is transferring his knowledge to students as well as being a speaker at many institutions.
