จากจุดเริ่มต้นการทำเครื่องจักสานจากเถาวัลย์แดง ที่มีแรงบันดาลใจมาจากการเห็นนกกำลังสร้างรังโดยใช้เศษเถาวัลย์ชิ้นเล็กๆ ค่อยๆ สานประกอบจนสำเร็จเป็นรังที่ทั้งสวยงามและแข็งแรง จุดประกายความคิดให้ครูอยากใช้วัสดุเถาวัลย์มาทดลองทำเป็นเครื่องใช้ต่างๆ ดูบ้าง จากนั้นก็ลองนำสินค้าตัวอย่าง “กระเช้า” ทรงคล้ายรังนกและใส่หูโค้งสำหรับหิ้วทำจากเถาวัลย์แดงไปเสนอแก่บริษัทส่งออกสินค้าไปต่างประเทศแห่งหนึ่ง ปรากฏว่าได้ออเดอร์มาเป็นหมื่นชิ้นและครูยังร่วมกับหน่วยงานภาครัฐและสถาบันการศึกษาทำการพัฒนาสายพันธุ์เถาวัลย์และขยายพันธุ์เถาวัลย์ โดยแจกจ่ายให้สมาชิกและประชาชนในชุมชนนำไปปลูกเพื่อใช้เป็นวัตถุดิบทดแทนเถาวัลย์ขึ้นเองตามธรรมชาติ

“Woven red vine wares are the wisdom from nests.”

From the beginning in making the woven wares from red vines, the inspiration is from seeing the birds creating their own nests by combining small pieces of vines to make the nests which are beautiful and strong. This inspires the Teacher to use the vines to try making the utensils. Then, he proposes the sample product of “basket” in the form similarly to nest with the bending handle made of red vines to an export company. The result is the order of ten thousand pieces. The Teacher also cooperates with public agencies and academic institutes for developing the varieties of vines and breeding the vines by distributing to the members and community people to plant for using as the raw materials in replacement with naturally grown vines.
