ทายาทครูลำดวน นันทะสุธา ผู้พัฒนาต่อยอดงานทอผ้าไหมลายขิด ซึ่งชาวอีสานถือว่า ในกระบวนการทอผ้าด้วยกันแล้ว การทอผ้าขิดผู้ทอจะต้องมีความชำนาญและมีฝีมือสูง เพราะมีเทคนิคการทอที่ซับซ้อนและมีกรรมวิธีที่ยุ่งยากกว่าการทอผ้าธรรมดา จึงต้องใช้เวลา ความอดทน และมีความละเอียดลออ นายณัฐพลได้พัฒนาเทคนิคการทอผ้าดอกที่ชาวอีสานเรียกกันว่า “การทอผ้าเก็บขิด” ซึ่งแต่เดิมทอคนเดียว ใช้ไม้ขิดเพียง 4-5 ไม้ เพิ่มเป็นการทอ 2 คน และใช้ไม้ขิด 45 ไม้ ทำให้ลวดลายของขิดแต่ละลายมีรูปแบบที่สวยงาม มีความมัน วาว เหลือบ ได้ลายนูนที่ละเอียด สวยงาม มีมิติมากยิ่งขึ้น

“Creating new dimension for Khid Silk of Baan Pho Kham”

The heir of Kru Lamduan Nanthasutha, developer of Khid silk waver. Northeastern considers weaving of Khid silk to require high weaving skill among weaving techniques. The weaving techniques are more complex and cumbersome process than conventional weaving. It takes time, patience and meticulous. Mr. Natthapon had developed flower weaving technique known as “Kep Khin Weaving” where required single weaver with 4-5 Khid wood in the past but nowadays 2 weavers and 45 Khid wood requires. This makes each pattern of Khid to be beautiful, glassy and luster is embossed with rich and detailed, even more dimension for the product itself.
