ที่บ้านเป็นโรงงานบาติกผมเลยรู้สึกผูกพันมาตั้งแต่เด็ก ผมว่าผ้าบาติกปาเต๊ะโบราณมันมีเสน่ห์ตรงลวดลายที่เป็นเอกลักษณ์ การจัดวางลายก็จะมีแบบแผนแบ่งเป็นลายขอบซึ่งจะใช้พิมพ์ตามขอบของผ้าลายเต็มซึ่งเป็นลายหลักของผืนผ้าและลายหน้านาง ซึ่งเป็นลายผ้านุ่งในการพิมพ์ลายลงบนผืน ผ้านั้นต้องใช้ความชำนาญเป็นอย่างมาก เพราะเราใช้แม่พิมพ์โลหะทั้งที่เป็นเหล็กทองเหลืองทองแดงจุ่มลงในน้ำตาเทียน ซึ่งตั้งอยู่บนเตาไฟแล้วจึงนำมาพิมพ์ลายลงบนผืนผ้า

“Restoring ancient batik, conserving batik prints”

My house is a batik factory, I feel bound since childhood. I think ancient batik is very charming, its motifs is unique. Its layout pattern is a pattern which is used as the pattern printed on the edge of the fabric, which is full of striped fabric. The striped skirt has printed on its cloth where lot of expertise is required because we use mold of iron, brass, copper dipped in droppings situated on the stove and then printed onto the fabric.
