“ด้วยความที่โตมากับผ้าลาวครั่งเราจึงไม่อยากให้ภูมิปัญญาเหล่านี้สูญหายไป และวิธีหนึ่งที่จะทำให้หัตถกรรมพื้นถิ่นยังคงอยู่ก็คืองานของเราต้องไม่หยุดนิ่ง ด้วยเหตุนี้ในส่วนของกระบวนการทอนั้นดิฉันจะยึดตามแบบอย่างดั้งเดิมทุกขั้นตอนแต่ก็พยายามพัฒนาลวดลายและสีสันเพื่อสร้างความน่าสนใจ เช่น ลายกระต่ายชมจันทร์ ซึ่งได้รับแรงบันดาลใจจากนิทานที่ผู้เฒ่าผู้แก่เล่าให้ฟัง ลายเต่าน้อยล้อมคอกเป็นการนำลายเต่าซึ่งเป็นลายดั้งเดิมมาประยุกต์ หรือลายดั้งเดิมซึ่งคนสมัยนี้ไม่ค่อยรู้จักอย่างลายก่านของ และลายมงคล เช่น ลายดาวค้ำเดือน ลายเอื้อรัฐ เราก็นำกลับมาใช้ ส่วนในเรื่องของสีสันจากเดิมที่ผ้าทอลาวครั่งจะใช้กันเพียง 5 สี คือ เขียว เหลือง ส้ม แดง ดำ เราก็เพิ่มเป็น 9 สี คือ เพิ่มสีเขียวอ่อน ฟ้า ชมพู และม่วง ทำให้สามารถสร้างงานในรูปใหม่ๆ ได้มากขึ้น

“Create Lao Krang cloth, stay with traditional pattern”

I grew up with Lao Krang cloth, so I do not want this wisdom to be forgotten. One way to make preserve the existence of local handicrafts is to keep developing. For this reason, I adhere to traditional but also develop new patterns and color to create attraction to the products such as Rabbit on the moon pattern which was inspired from ancient tale, Little Turtle pattern, or the very traditional pattern that hardly recognized nowadays which are Kan kong pattern and Mongkol pattern such as Moon and star pattern Aua rat pattern. Speaking of color, Lao Krang cloth technique requires only 5 colors which are green, yellow, orange, red and black. But now we have increased to 9 colors that adds light green, blue, pink and purple. This creates new product subsequently.
