แรงบันดาลใจในการทำงานคือ ความต้องการที่จะเก็บความงามของสีสันจากวัสดุจากธรรมชาติ มาถ่ายทอดไว้บนผ้าไหมซึ่งนับว่าเป็นราชินีแห่งผ้า ครูจึงทุ่มเทค้นคว้าคุณลักษณะพิเศษของพืชพันธุ์ต่างๆ เพื่อที่จะนำสีสันเหล่านั้นมาสร้างสรรค์งานศิลปหัตถกรรมให้เกิดผ้าไหมอันงดงามทั้งสีสันและลวดลาย ซึ่งนอกจากครูจะต้องทำความรู้จักกับสีธรรมชาติแล้ว ครูยังต้องสนิทสนมกับเส้นใยอีกด้วย เมื่อเราลึกซึ้งกับทั้งสองสิ่งแล้วเราก็จะได้องค์ความรู้ในการทอผ้าและย้อมสี เพื่อส่งต่อให้คนรุ่นหลังสืบทอดต่อไป

The inspiration of work is the desire to present the beauty of colors gained from natural materials on the piece of silk which is considered the queen of cloth. The Teacher is dedicative to research on the special features of various kinds of plants in order to bring such colors to create the handicraft on the silk which is beautiful both in color and patterns. Apart from knowing the natural colors, the Teacher has to be familiar with the fabric as well. When we know both profoundly, we will have knowledge in weaving and dying to transfer to the next generations further.
