วิชาความรู้ในการทำตะลุ่ม เตียบ พานแว่นฟ้า ที่ครูได้รับการถ่ายทอดมาจากบรรพบุรุษรุ่นสู่รุ่นตั้งแต่ครั้งกรุงศรีอยุธยา และด้วยใจรักในอาชีพนี้ครูจึงฝึกฝนตนเองพัฒนางานฝีมืออย่างไม่ย่อท้อ จนมีชื่อเสียงเป็นที่ยอมรับอย่างกว้างขวาง โดยครูยังคงรูปลักษณ์และกรรมวิธีตามแบบฉบับช่างชั้นสูงอยุธยาแล้ว ยังมีวิสัยทัศน์ในการสร้างโอกาสทางธุรกิจใหม่ๆ โดยพัฒนารูปทรงให้แปลกตา ปรับรูปแบบให้เหมาะสมกับยุคสมัย ใช้ในชีวิตประจำวันได้ง่ายขึ้น พัฒนาผลิตภัณฑ์เป็นกลุ่มเครื่องประดับตกแต่งบ้านและเครื่องใช้บนโต๊ะอาหาร เป็นอาชีพเลี้ยงตัวและครอบครัวได้อย่างมั่นคงยาวนาน ปัจจุบันแม้ครูจะสูงวัยแล้วแต่ก็ยังกระฉับกระเฉงและมุ่งมั่นถ่ายทอดภูมิปัญญาไทยแขนงนี้ให้ลูกหลานต่อไปด้วยใจรัก

“I make “talum” following the high artist custom and methods in Ayutthaya period yet develop the form and shape to suit contemporary use.”

The master inherited the knowledge of making “tieb”, “talum”, “phan waenfa” from his ancestors since
Ayutthaya period. With passion towards this art, he has practiced his skills and created the fine work which could be accepted widely. Though he retain the ancient methods of making the work, he thought that, to find new business opportunity, adaptation of forms for contemporary use was necessary. Therefore, he has adapted the products for convenient use. Also, he made the products as home decorations and utensils.
The products have become popular and help him make a living and support his family until now.
Despite his age, the master is still healthy and determined to transfer his knowledge to the young.
