ผลงานของครูทองร่วงมีความละเอียดซับซ้อน อลังการ พร้อมทั้งนำศีลธรรมและเหตุการณ์ปัจจุบันใส่ลงในผลงาน สมบูรณ์พร้อมทั้งความงาม และเนื้อหาที่น่าติดตาม ไม่เหมือนใคร ครูทองร่วงได้ทำงานออกแบบพระพุทธรูป โบสถ์ และงานปูนปั้นสำคัญๆ มากมาย งานหัตถกรรมปูนปั้นของครูทองร่วงแบ่งเป็น 3 ประเภท ได้แก่ ประเภทความงาม เช่น งานปั้นประเพณีลวดลายโบราณดังเช่นที่ปรากฏในวัดพระแก้วงานประเภทแฝงธรรมะที่ประดับตกแต่งตามวัดวาอารามต่างๆ และประเภทความคิดซึ่งนับเป็นเอกลักษณ์ของครูทองร่วงดังจะเห็นได้จากงานปั้นล้อเลียนการเมืองหรือเหตุการณ์ปัจจุบันในแนวการ์ตูน เช่น งานปั้นหม่อมราชวงศ์คึกฤทธิ์ ปราโมชเมื่อครั้งเข้ารับตำแหน่งนายกรัฐมนตรีในปีพ.ศ. 2518 ตามมาด้วยรูปบุคคลสำคัญทั้งในและต่างประเทศอีกหลายท่าน

The work of Teacher Thongruang is delicate and gorgeous. The morality and current events are inserted into the work with the exquisiteness and unique contents to be perfect in beauty and interesting contents.Master Thongruang has designed Buddha images, ordination halls and other important stucco. His stucco work can be divided into 3 types which include fine stucco such as ancient motif stucco as we can see at Temple of the Emerald Buddha, stucco depicting Buddhist doctrines decorating ordination halls and thought-provoking stucco which is regarded as his signature as seen from the stucco reflecting political parody or current situations. An obvious example is the stucco portrait of MR Kukrit Pramoj made when he was appointed as the Prime Minister in 1975 and stucco portraits of many other important national and international people.
