ในการทอผ้าตั้งแต่เริ่มต้น วิธีการคิดลายและบันทึกลายผ้านั้น ผมจะใช้วิธีการจุดแบบโบราณ ด้วยการจุดมือคือใช้ปากกาจุดไปบนกระดาษทำให้เกิดลวดลายตามที่เราต้องการต้องตามแบบโบราณจะไม่ได้ใช้โปรแกรมคอมพิวเตอร์ เพราะคิดว่าเป็นสิ่งที่บรรพบุรุษทำมาแต่โบราณเราควรจะอนุรักษ์เอาไว้ ประกอบกับการจุดมือง่ายกว่าการใช้โปรแกรมคอมพิวเตอร์เพราะเพียงเรามีกระดาษ ไม่ว่าเราจะอยู่ที่ไหนเราก็สามารถจุดลายได้ สำหรับลายต่างๆ ที่ผมคิดขึ้นมานั้นได้แรงบันดาลใจมาจาก ที่ต่าง ๆ ไม่ว่าจะเป็นวัดวาอาราม ดอกไม้และสิ่งที่สวยงามที่อยู่รอบตัว ครูได้เผยแพร่ต่อยอดองค์ความรู้ให้แก่ชาวเขาเผ่ากระเหรี่ยงที่อาศัยอยู่บนดอยอำเภอลี้และอำเภอทุ่งหัวช้าง

“The uniqueness of my Yok Dok woven cloth is to pull the edge in ancient style.”

In weaving from the start, the way of inventing the patterns, I use the traditional method to put the dots by hand with a pen on paper to make patterns as we want as traditional style. We do not use computer program. I think that is what the ancestors made in the past and we should conserve it. Moreover, potting with hand is easier than using the computer program because we only use paper. We can put the dots wherever. For various patterns which I have been invented, I am inspired by different sources whether temples, flowers and beautiful things surroundings. The Teacher has furthered the knowledge to the Karen tribe who lived on the mountain in Lee District and Thung Hua Chang District.
