หัวใจสำคัญของการฉลุกระดาษคงหนีไม่พ้นความเชี่ยวชาญและเทคนิคต่างๆ ซึ่งจำเป็นอย่างยิ่งที่จะต้องฝึกใช้กรรไกรให้คล่องมืออยู่เป็นประจำ ส่วนของปลายกรรไกรจะต้องฝนให้คมเป็นพิเศษ เพราะจะทำให้สามารถปักลงบนเนื้อกระดาษได้ นอกจากนี้ยังต้องฝึกหมุนมือกับหมุนกระดาษให้ไปพร้อมๆ กันจึงจะทำให้ได้เส้นโค้งออกมาตามที่ต้องการ ผลงานที่ภาคภูมิใจมากที่สุดเป็นรูปแม่กับลูกและมีลายดอกมะลิเป็นลายเครือล้านนา ผลงานนี้ทำในงานเฉลิมพระชนมพรรษา สมเด็จพระนางเจ้าฯ พระบรมราชินีนาถ ครูได้ถ่ายทอดความรู้นี้ให้แก่นักเรียนตามโรงเรียนต่างๆ จนได้รับเกียรติเป็นครูภูมิปัญญาไทยและได้เปิดศูนย์การเรียนรู้และพิพิธภัณฑ์เบญจพลซึ่งมีผู้สนใจเข้ามาเรียนรู้วิชาการตัดฉลุกระดาษมากมาย

“Put the scissors intentionally on the paper and let the imagine run through the tips of the fingers to create the beautiful carved paper from the wisdom of the ancestors.”

The core of paper carving is the proficiency and techniques which are very required to practice using the scissors regularly. The tips of the scissors must be specially sharpened as they must be able to pin down on the paper. Moreover, we have to practice to rotate the hand and paper in the same time in order to get the curve lines as demanded. The most proudly works are the picture of mother and kid with the jasmines in Lanna bunches. This work is made in the birthday anniversary celebration of HM the Queen Sirikit. The Teacher has transferred this knowledge to the students in schools until being honored as the Teacher of Thai wisdom. The Teacher also opens the learning center and Banjapol Museum where a lot of interested people come to learn how to carve paper.
