ครูผู้สืบสานงานศิลปะจากกระดาษโดยได้วิชามาจากบรรพบุรุษ ตัดเป็นลวดลายต่างๆ เช่น สร้อยสาเกศกษัตริย์ ข้าวหลามตัด พวงมาลัย เชิงชายหรือบัวคว่ำบัวหงาย ตีนตะขาบ จักรหรือกงจัก ดาว ใบผักแว่น ดอกมะลิ ปีกจักจั่น เป็นต้น สำหรับใช้ประดับประดาในงานต่างๆ เช่น งานบวช งานศพ งานกองหดหรือหดสรงซึ่งเป็นพิธียกย่องเชิดชูพระสงฆ์ที่ประพฤติดี ลุงคูณพยายามพัฒนาลวดลายใหม่ๆ แต่ยังคงอนุรักษ์ลวดลายดั้งเดิม ครูพร้อมที่จะถ่ายทอดองค์ความรู้ให้แก่ผู้สนใจ ทั้งยังตระเวนเป็นวิทยากรพิเศษตามโรงเรียนต่างๆ ในระดับประถมศึกษาและมัธยมศึกษา ด้วยหวังให้งานตัดกระดาษเป็นหนึ่งศิลปะ ภูมิปัญญาที่มีผู้สืบทอด

“Develop new patterns of paper cutting to make it more attractive. Anyway, ancient models are still relied on as we should have our origin and maintain our master’s identity.”

The master has inherited the art of paper cutting from his ancestors. Paper can be cut in different shapes and patterns such as SoiSa, Kedkasat, Khawlamtud, Puangmalai, Cherngchai or Buakwam-Buangai, Dintakhab, Chak or Kongchak, Star, Pakwaen, Jasmine, and Cicada Wing for use as decorations at ceremonies like ordination, funeral, and other Buddhist ceremonies. The master continues creating new patterns while conserving existing ones. He is delighted to give knowledge to interested people. Also, he is a speaker at elementary and secondary schools in the hope that the art of paper cutting will remain alive.
