ด้วยความเชื่อมาแต่ครั้งโบราณว่า สาวภูไท ต้องทอผ้าเก่ง นี่คือแรงบันดาลใจที่ทำให้ฉันอยากทอผ้าเป็น เราจะอนุรักษ์ลายผ้าโบราณ ไว้และทำลายประยุกต์บ้าง ลายโบราณเราจะนำผ้าโบราณของคนรุ่นเก่ามาศึกษา นำเป็นต้นแบบ เช่น ลายขอน้อย ลายตาข่าย ลายแห ลายนาคน้อย ลายตุ้มเล็ก ลายดอกกระบวยน้อย ลายหมากจับ เป็นต้น ฟืมที่ใช้ทอสมัยก่อนจะใช้ฟืมที่เป็นฟันไม้ ปัจจุบันก็ได้ดัดแปลงมาใช้เป็นสแตนเลสซึ่งจะทำให้เนื้อผ้าแน่นขึ้นกว่าเดิมครูได้ช่วยอนุรักษ์และสืบสานการทอผ้าโดยได้ไปเป็นวิทยากรให้กับกรมพัฒนาชุมชนปีละประมาณ 4-5 ครั้ง

"I weave Mudmee silk with the traditional patterns until receiving the beautiful cloth as the uniqueness of Phu Tai people."

With the ancient belief that Phu Tai’s woman must brilliantly weave, this inspires me to know how to weave. We will conserve the ancient patterns and invent some applications. For the ancient patterns, we use the ancient cloth of the ancestors to study as model such as Khor Noi pattern, net patterns, Naga Noi pattern, Tum Lek pattern, Dok Krabuay Noi pattern, Mak Chab pattern, etc. The woven beater used initially was wood but today it was adapted to use stainless which makes the cloth more tightly. The Teacher has conserved and transferred the cloth weaving by being a lecturer for the Department of Community Development about 4-5 times a year.
