นายปิยะณัฐ ทายาทผู้ได้รับการถ่ายทอด และฝึกฝนฝีมือการทำทองโบราณจากบิดาครูศิลป์ของแผ่นดิน ทำนอง รุ่งสีทอง ที่ยังคงสืบทอดลวดลายและวิธีการทำงานของช่างโบราณเอาไว้ เพื่ออนุรักษ์งานช่างเครื่องทองในรูปแบบดั้งเดิม ด้วยการศึกษาถอดแบบลวดลายโบราณ แล้วนำมาประยุกต์ลวดลายใหม่ๆ ปรับรูปแบบ ลวดลาย ให้มีความร่วมสมัย นอกจากนี้ยังได้คิดค้นเทคนิคใหม่ๆ ในการขั้นตอนการผลิต เพื่อเพิ่มประสิทธิภาพและลดเวลาในการผลิต เช่น ลายดอกแค ทำให้เครื่องทองโบราณแห่งอำเภอพานทอง กลายเป็นผลงานที่มีความงามวิจิตร
