ผ้าไหมของครูจะเป็นผ้าที่ทอเอง เรามีโรงทออยู่หลังร้านซึ่งตรงจุดนี้ทำให้เราเด่นกว่าร้านอื่น เพราะเขาจะรับผ้าไหมจากที่อื่น เช่น จากเหนือ จากอีสานมาขาย การที่เราทอเองขายเองทำให้ต้นทุนของเราถูกกว่าที่อื่น เอกลักษณ์ผ้าไหมของที่นี่จะมีความมันวาวกว่า เพราะใบหม่อนที่ใช้เลี้ยงหนอนไหมที่นี่สมบูรณ์ ทำให้หนอนไหมมีความสมบูรณ์และมีคุณภาพมากกว่า ผ้าไหมของทางภาคใต้จะสีสดกว่าผ้าไหมของทางภาคเหนือและภาคอีสาน เพราะคนใต้ชอบสีสดๆ เข้มๆ ครูพยายามถ่ายทอดความรู้ให้แก่คนรุ่นหลัง ด้วยความภาคภูมิใจว่าผ้าพุมเรียงคือ มรดกทางภูมิปัญญาของบรรพบุรุษชาวพุมเรียงของเรา

Our silk is self-woven. We have one weaving place which makes us advantageous. While other buy silk from the North or the Northeast for sale, we make it ourselves to reduce cost. The uniqueness of our silk is shininess. This is because of the materials we use to raise silkworms are of good quality, which contributes to healthy worms and premium silk threads. It can be seen that the southern silk is more colorful than that from the North and the Northeast. It is partly because southern people prefer colorful cloths. I have been trying to transfer my knowledge to the new generations to have them aware of the pride of having Pumrieng silk as the heritage from their ancestors.
