เอกลักษณ์ของงานผม คือ ธรรมะ งานปูนปั้นทุกชิ้นจะแฝงไว้ด้วยคติธรรมคำสอนของพระพุทธเจ้า เพราะนี่คือแรงบันดาลใจในการทำงานของผม ผมนำเอาความรู้จากการที่เคยทำงานจิตรกรรมมาสร้างสรรค์งานปูนปั้น เริ่มจากการทำภาพร่างให้มีมิติและแสงเงา งานออกมาจะเป็นงานเสมือนจริงมากที่สุด สิ่งที่สะดวกและดีในตอนนี้คือการใช้ปูนซีเมนต์แทนปูนตำ เพราะขั้นตอนไม่ยุ่งยากซับซ้อน ทำงานได้สะดวก แต่ต้องใช้ระยะเวลารอการเซ็ตตัวของปูน งานที่ภาคภูมิใจคือได้รับมอบหมายให้ทำลวดลายปูนปั้นหน้าบรรณหอพุทธทาสธรรมโฆษณ์ สำนักศิลปะและวัฒนธรรม มหาวิทยาลัยราชภัฏสุราษฎร์ธานี ผมออกแบบโดยให้ทุกหน้าจั่วบ่งบอกถึงธรรมะอันเป็นหัวใจสำคัญแท้ๆ ที่อาจารย์พุทธทาสเคยสอนไว้

“If we don’t have black plaster, we can use cement. I definitely won’t let stucco disappear with black plaster.”

The unique of my work is dharma. Each piece of my stucco is embedded with the Buddha’s teaching, which is my inspiration. I have applied the knowledge I got when I worked on paintings on stucco, starting from drawing and shadowing the pictures. This method makes the work becomes realistic. Using cement instead of black plaster is convenient as the process of preparation is not complicated though it takes time for the cement to be set. The work I am proud of the most is when I was assigned to make stucco motifs on the pediments of Buddhadasa Dharmakosa Hall, Art and Culture Office, Suratthani Rajabhat University. I have designed it in the way that each pediment depicts the dharma which is the core of Buddhadasa’s teaching.
