The making of musical instruments makes me happy. It requires a combination of experience and expertise such as wooden work, carvings, gilding, and lacquering to make Thai musical instruments. My inspiration is my work as I wish to produce good quality product to customers who trust in our skills. We work on each step with extra care. I have inherited the work from my husband and passed it onto my children. The most concern of mine is the maintenance of quality of my work, my children’s work and my students’ work because everyone creates Thai musical instruments in the name of Kerd Song Silpa Lai Thai, which will be inherited from generations to generations.
