แรงบันดาลใจของฉันเกิดจากคำว่า เป็นผู้หญิงจะทำงานช่างได้หรือ นั่นแหละเป็นแรงผลักดันให้ฉันมีความมานะ เรียนรู้งานช่างทุกแขนงที่พ่อทำ ไม่ว่าจะเป็นลงรัก ปิดทอง ประดับกระจก ฉันบอกพ่อว่าฉันจะต้องทำได้ และทำได้ดีกว่าผู้ชายด้วย งานลงรักปิดทองเป็นภูมิปัญญาของคนโบราณ ซึ่งอาจจะมีทั้งไทยและพม่า น่าจะอนุรักษ์เอาไว้เพราะว่าคนโบราณได้มอบมรดกไว้ให้ หาสิ่งที่มาทำให้ทองติดโลหะ และวัสดุต่างๆ ได้ เป็นงานตกแต่งที่สวยงาม ครูจึงพยายามส่งต่อมอบองค์ความรู้แก่ลูกศิษย์และผู้ที่สนใจจะสืบสานงานสกุลช่างเพชรบุรีให้ยืนยาวตลอดไป

“Filtering lacquer liquid before using and gilding from the bottom to the top are the important techniques that my father taught me.”

I was inspired by the words saying that how women could be good at craftwork. Those words have driven me to learn all fields of crafts my father had done, which include gilding and lacquering and glass decoration. I told my father that I had to get over it and do it better than men. Gilding and lacquering are ancient wisdom, which can be Thai and Burmese. These techniques should be conserved as valuable heritage from ancestors. Gold can be decorated with metal or other materials to make it gorgeous. I have tried to give my knowledge to students or interested people who intend to maintain Phetchaburi craftsmanship.
