ด้วยความเป็นคนเมืองน่าน ทำให้ได้ซึมซับเอาเอกลักษณ์ประเพณีวัฒนธรรมมาเป็นแรงบันดาลใจในการทำงาน จนกระทั่งได้รับโอกาสที่เป็นเกียรติสูงสุดในชีวิตคือ ได้มีโอกาสสร้างหัวตุงถวายพระเมรุมาศสมเด็จพระเจ้าพี่นางเธอ เจ้าฟ้ากัลยาณิวัฒนาฯ รวมถึงได้ทำสะล้อถวายสมเด็จพระเทพรัตนราชสุดา สยามบรมราชกุมารี และทำธรรมาสน์อันเชิญถ้วยพระราชทานเรือแข่งของจังหวัดน่าน “สุระปั้น หยา” ปัจจุบันนี้ครูได้รับหน้าที่เป็นวิทยากร ส่งต่อความรู้ให้แก่เยาวชนและสถาบันต่างๆ อยู่เป็นประจำเพื่อถ่ายทอดภูมิปัญญาไว้ให้คนรุ่นหลังไม่ให้สูญหายตลอดไป

“My work needs engraving which is the uniqueness of gilding and lacquering technique of Pua people.”

As a Nan local person, I have absorbed the cultural uniqueness which later became my inspiration for work. Then, I have received the highest honor, which was to build “Hua Tung” for the royal funeral pyre of Princess Galyani Vadhana, build Salo for Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn and build the pulpit to support the royal cup for Nan’s “Surapunya” boat racing. Now I am a speaker who transfers knowledge to students and institutions to maintain the local wisdom of this craft.
