บ้านนันทาราม ทำเครื่องเขินกันทั้งย่าน เดินไปบ้านไหนก็ทำ บ้านเราก็ทำไม่มีอะไรแตกต่างกัน นี่เป็นแรงบันดาลใจที่ทำให้ครูอยากหาความแตกต่างมาใส่ให้กับงานเครื่องเขินที่เราอยู่กับมันมาตั้งแต่เกิด แล้วเราก็พบว่าการที่เราเปิดใจรับเอาองค์ความรู้จากที่อื่นมาพัฒนางานของเราให้แปลกใหม่ขึ้นก็ทำให้เรามีความเข้าใจในงานเขินมากยิ่งขึ้น และได้สื่อสารภาษาเขินกับเพื่อนร่วมอาชีพ เพื่อเรียนรู้ที่จะพัฒนางานไปด้วยกัน
ครูได้อุทิศเวลาในการสอนทำเครื่องเขินที่โฮงเฮียนสืบสานภูมิปัญญาล้านนา และรับเป็นวิทยากรเพื่อสอนการทำเครื่องเขินตามโครงการต่างๆ ของสถาบันการศึกษาที่สำคัญ เช่น มหาวิทยาลัยเชียงใหม่ มหาวิทยาลัยราชมงคลล้านนาและ กศน.

Baan Nuntharam is a lacquerware community. Almost all of the households make lacquerware and there is nothing different. That is the reason why I started to think that I should find some differences to add to the lacquerware which we have been with since we were born. I found that if we open our minds to obtain knowledge from other places, we will be able to develop our work and make a difference. In addition, we can understand our work better as well as understanding lacquerware more. We can communicate with the people of the same profession and learn to develop products together. I have dedicated my time to teach people how to make lacquerware at Lanna Wisdom School, and I am a trainer teaching how to make lacquerware at many institutions including Chiangmai University, Rajamangala University of Technology Lanna and Informal Education.
