จากจุดเริ่มต้นในการซ่อมแซมชิ้นงานโบราณวัตถุ ทำให้ครูได้ค้นพบเอกลักษณ์และตัวตนของงานในรูปแบบที่ชื่นชอบ คือเครื่องเขินแบบโบราณ ที่ไม่ใช่โบราณเฉพาะรูปแบบ ครูพยายามดำเนินรอยตามกรรมวิธีที่บรรพชนครูช่างดั้งเดิมได้ทำไว้อย่างครบถ้วน นี่คือแรงบันดาลใจในการทำงานของครู ทุกวันนี้ครูได้ส่งต่อภูมิปัญญาและความรู้ด้วยการไปเป็นอาจารย์พิเศษของภาควิชาศิลปะไทย มหาวิทยาลัยเชียงใหม่ และโครงการพุทธศาสนาของจังหวัดน่าน เพื่อสอนการทำเครื่องเขินให้กับผู้ที่ต้องการเรียน และยังเป็นวิทยากรพิเศษให้แก่กรมพัฒนาฝีมือแรงงานของจังหวัดเชียงใหม่ เพื่ออนุรักษ์งานฝีมือโบราณให้คงอยู่ตลอดไป

“Genuine lacquer and genuine cinnabar are essential parts of ancient lacqerware I have tried to revive, and the knowledge received from ancestors are the clue to the treasure.”

Starting with repairing ancient works, I have discovered my uniqueness and the style of work I like, which is ancient lacquerware. It not ancient in terms of the form, but I have tried to follow the ancient methods originally created by the ancient masters. This can be regarded as my inspiration. Presently, I am transferring this wisdom and knowledge to other by being a special instructor at Faculty of Thai Arts, Chiangmai University and Buddhism Project of Nan in order to teach how to make lacquerware to interested people. Also, I am
a special speaker for Department of Skill Development in Chiang Mai to conserve the ancient craft.
