การสืบทอดวัฒนธรรมและประเพณีโบราณของชนชาติลาวครั่งเดิมที่อพยพลงมาจาสาธารณรัฐประชาธิปไตยประชาชนลาว ซึ่งจะทอทั้งผ้าซิ่นไหมและผ้าซิ่นฝ้ายไว้นุ่งเอง โดยส่วนใหญ่จะใช้ผ้าซิ่นฝ้ายไว้นุ่งทำงานและผ้าจะทอขึ้นเพื่อใช้ในเวลามีงานบุญงานแต่ง ส่วนผ้าซิ่นไหมหรือจำพวกผ้าไหมจะทำขึ้นมาเช่นกัน แต่สมัยก่อนการทอผ้าไหมถ้าทอกี่ผื่นก็ตามจะนำถวายวัดครึ่งหนึ่งของจำนวนผ้า เพื่อเป็นการอุทิศให้กับชีวิตของไหมที่เสียไปจึงไม่นิยมใช้ไหมมากนักเพราะเป็นการฆ่าสัตว์ส่วนใหญ่จึงนิยมเป็นผ้าฝ้ายเสียมากกว่า ผ้าทอลาวครั่งบ้านนาตาโพใช้วิธีการผลิตผ้าทอแบบโบราณ ใช้วัตถุดิบจากฝ้ายร้อยเปอร์เซ็นต์ ไม่ว่าจะเป็นด้ายยืน ด้ายพุ่งและด้ายจก ใช้การเย็บมือทุกชิ้น ครูตั้งมั่นว่าอยากทำผ้าสวยๆ ให้คนใช้ ใช้แล้วชอบ สุดท้ายก็ตกเป็นมรดกของแผ่นดิน

The transfer of ancient culture and tradition of Lao Krang who evacuated from the Lao People's Democratic Republic came with the woven cloth both silk and cotton mostlymade for personal wearing. Mostly, they make the cotton sarong to wear and the woven cloth will be used in the ceremony or wedding. For the silk sarong or cloth, in the past weaving silk cloths would be separated in half quantity to be dedicated to the templesin order to donate to the lives of died silk worms. Therefore, it is not much popular as it is animal killing. Cotton cloth is more popular. Na Ta Pho Lao Krang woven cloth uses the ancient methods of cloth weaving. The raw materials are 100% from cotton; vertical thread, horizontal thread, and picking thread. All pieces of cloth are hand weaving into ancient Thai pattern.
