Background The aim of “Green Crafts” product development is to promote and establish a guideline for the communities to learn how to create products that are Eco-Friendly. The prototype has been exhibited in the “Interiorlifestyle Tokyo” Japan. Objective 1. To create understanding and raise awareness of environmentally friendly arts and crafts. 2. To develop the arts and crafts products in order to meet the market trend of the environment concern. Concept “The Rice Culture” concept focuses on the products related to rice path and Thai eating culture such as tableware and related decoration through the perspective of the needs of the Japanese market. Expert Junya Kitagawara, an expert in marketing and product design, home appliances and decoration from Japan. Currently, he is a president of Art Resources Inc. with experience in marketing and product development, and visual merchandizing in department stores in Japan for more than 25 years. He is also a representative of the Japanese government in the development project of Thailand products cooperating with the Japan External Trade Organization (JETRO) to develop products in order to meet the demand of both Japanese and European market.
